Cala Barques

Just over 25 minutes from Campanet is the mythical Cala Barques, the biggest beach in Cala Sant Vicenç. This is a very popular cove and as is to be expected, it’s gorgeous. Today, it isn’t an unspoilt cove, but it does have various services nearby, including sunbeds, parasols for hire, restaurants and simply stunning surroundings. The water is crystal-clear and the cove is sandy, with a few small stones here and there – just what you’d expect on a natural beach!

It’s 85m long, 40m wide with rocky areas on each side and surrounded by nature, giving it an extra special touch. It’s quite busy in summer so it’s best to get there early and park close by. This is one of Mallorca’s mythical coves and as it’s so close, we couldn’t leave it off the ranking of must-see beaches close to Campanet.

Alcudia Beach

Playa de Alcúdia is an excellent option close to Campanet and the surrounding areas, as well as being one of the best beaches in Mallorca. It’s classified as one of Spain’s 590 Blue Flag beaches, certifying its environmental quality.

Playa de Alcúdia is more than 3km long and merges with the nearby Platja de Muro. It’s a white sandy beach with stunning, clean, shallow water, perfect for families. This beach offers endless water activities (kayaking, paddle surfing, inflatable slides, etc.), as well as toilets, showers, sunbeds and nearby shops and restaurants. Not only is it just a 25-minute drive from the centre of Campanet, it’s also our top beach close to Campanet!

Platja de Formentor

This beach is a 40-minute drive from the centre of Campanet and is one of the most famous in Mallorca. It’s also located very close to Port de Pollença, so you’ll always be able to do a joint visit.

Platja de Formentor is one of the most beautiful. “Spectacular” is one of the top adjectives used to describe it and not only that, but it’s also a Blue Flag beach. It’s located in the North of Mallorca, on the way to the famous Cap de Formentor – a must-see.

The beach is 1km long and of course, lined with clean, turquoise waters and surrounded by stunning views of the Serra de Tramuntana. It’s partially surrounded by pine forests, providing glorious shade on the hottest summer days, perfect for anyone who wants to take shelter for a while.

You’ll be able to enjoy all kinds of activities, such as catamaran trips, windsurfing, SUP or diving. If you’re looking to relax, there are also sunbeds available. It’s without a doubt one of Mallorca’s best beaches and we couldn’t miss it off our list of beaches close to Campanet. An absolute must!
